How does it work?

Guided by our experienced business coach, Ocular Forum members act as catalysts for growth, devil's advocates and supportive colleagues for each other. Managing the membership in this way improves the group's ability to keep their focus on relevant issues and challenges important to everyone. As trust and respect among the group develops, a mutual "raising of the bar" environment grows. Accountability is a key ingredient for your success in this program. To keep track of your progress, you’ll be using an online system called PRO (PROducing Results).   Through accountability, a perspective of abundance and a willingness to see with new eyes and learn a new way of doing business - your success will be unstoppable.

Here's a detailed look into how the program works:

The initial meeting is a full-day BOLD Business Boot Camp offsite.
You and your forum partners complete the workshop which is, in affect, answering 10 questions that shape your business goals. At the end of the Boot Camp, you will have completed your 1-page success plan for the next 6 to 12-months

Monthly meetings help you manage progress.
Following the Boot Camp, you meet with your forum team once a month for a half-day work session that works in the following ways.

Monthly review & planning discussion - Members discuss their progress and the actions they took the previous month. Members can ask each other for ideas or for feedback about a particular challenge they may be experiencing, and then the group brainstorms on possible solutions or ideas for improvement. Sharing and leveraging the experience of other members is a big benefit of the monthly meeting.

The group then makes a commitment to each other regarding the results they will achieve or actions they will take over the next 30 days to move their goals forward. These commitments form the basis for the following month's discussions.

Monthly Meeting Agenda - Each meeting will have 3 components:

1. Brainstorming: Members will have the opportunity to pose specific questions or issues to the group for discussion; i.e. a business plan, strategies or challenges being faced, etc. A brainstorming session on particular questions and issues can be requested, or a discussion of general business issues may be elected.
2. Business development: an important topic of business success will be covered at each meeting. At times, it will be work previously done by the members. The areas of focus are determined at the start of the Ocular Forum and are dependent upon the common needs of the group. Topics and exercises have included writing business plans, developing marketing plans and strategies, sales skills and customer relationship management.
3. Personal development: As a business owner, your business and personal lives overlap and meld together. Improving personal skills such as networking, time management, meditation and mindfulness, physical health, etc. only increases your effectiveness in your business. personal development is an important focus of the Ocular Forum.

Stay Up to Speed - Periodically, we have a 30-minute presentation by an outside speaker with time for Q/A. The topics are timely, relevant and interesting, and have an impact on how members get business done. Subjects range from the mundane to the uncommon, all of which play a roll in the important decisions you face. The scope of issues we address in the Ocular Forum reach beyond "Traditional continuing Education." We look beyond the center to what's happening on the horizon, the fringe; because that's where the future is born!

Private one-on-one coaching sessions: Each Ocular Forum member receives two private coaching sessions. One session is designed as a debriefing following the initial Boot Camp to review and finalize the discussions and plans created. The second coaching session is to assist the member in the most beneficial way, from reviewing the overall performance and strategies moving forward to specific issues and challenges being experienced.

What is the cost?

We'll tell you this - if something prevents you from participating in this program, it won't be the cost. your investment in and Ocular Forum membership will more than pay for itself before you even complete the program!

Your investment for the 12-month program, including all the materials, documentation, phone and email support is $495 ($250 payable as a deposit at the time of registration) plus 11 monthly payments of $149 by MC, Visa, Discover or PayPal auto debits.

IMPORTANT! This isn’t an instant success program. You’ll be working on making changes and major improvements the old fashioned way – a holistic way that takes your time, your enthusiasm and your focused effort.  That’s why we believe, for real change to take place, a 12-month commitment is necessary.  

However, if you are more comfortable committing to a membership period of less than 12-months, you can choose a 6-month Ocular Forum membership.
To be eligible for the 6-month membership you must make the commitment to stay with the process you learn for 12 months.  The 6-month membership investment is $695 ($250 payable as a deposit at the time of registration) plus 6 monthly payments of $169 by MC, Visa, Discover or PayPal auto debits.

Annual memberships paid in full by check receive a 15% discount. Renewing memberships are also discounted 15%.
